The fuel crisis in Britain has also involved sports stars, as Cristiano Ronaldo's driver waited seven hours in a row yesterday to refuel the ent 220,000 Bentley, but failed to get any points.
The footballer's supercar was seen in the line of a gas station a few kilometers away from the home of the Manchester United star.
While a Range Rover, also driven by Ronaldo's security group was parked next to her.
The drivers were reported by the media to have lined up at 2.20pm, hoping a tanker would come to supply the gas station. But after waiting more than six hours they realized there was no hope and left around 21.00
Meanwhile there were no signs of 36-year-old Ronaldo himself, who was at his six-bedroom house nearby in Wilmslow.
His drivers kept the humor as they waited, taking some coffee from the store inside the supply point.
A witness told the media: "Given how much money Ronaldo has, he is now like all of us. "His security waited for hours hoping the supply would come but they were forced to leave."
For more than a week Britain has been gripped by the truck driver crisis which has caused deep shortages in fuel delivery to supply points.
The government has deployed army buses to help disperse, while on Sunday it was announced the issuance of emergency visas for truck drivers from Europe, to overcome the crisis.
Sources say the riots could last another month, but meanwhile at supply points funny scenes of clashes and insults between drivers are becoming commonplace.
In some of the most extreme images published yesterday by the local daily Metro, drivers were seen filling plastic buckets and bottles with fuel.
